Overview
About Me
I work at a delightful organic local food based catering company.
I've a fondness for friends, dance and tea.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Couchsurfing is great. People on here tend to be travelers and dreamers, and all the places I've stayed have been great. The best experience was sleeping in a Mongolian Yurt in Budapest, drinking wine and minds with the philosopher rock climber, David Klein. I like meeting new people and seeing how I fit into their life.
Interests
HA! Dance of all kinds! I love life, laughing, living outdoors, waking up to see the sun (or moon), reading books that make me think 'oh that's good' (particularly if preceded by a shiver), cooking is essential, storytelling is a fine way to pass time. I love writing and hearing someone else talk about what they love. So far I think I like traveling.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Nicholas Jaar, Mogwai, Andrew Jackson Jihad, Paul Baribuuuu, Justice, Father John Misty, Fela Kuti, Modest Mouse, Violent Femmes ...and I read. Prolifically in the past, but when the time strikes I'm usually enjoying Eco or Aire or Bolaño. As for movies, I have a deep love for movies and cinema, particularly 70's kung fu films but also the kinds of films where you have to sit wondering why you are doing this as your day job when you could be crafting something like...that
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hitchhiked the West of the USA for 6 months in a gigantic spiral, beginning in Austin, TX and ending in San Francisco, CA. I camped with beavers and skunks next to rivers, lived on hills and beaches and swamps and had a myriad of wonderful adventures.
Teach, Learn, Share
Traveling is a kind of learning. When you travel you learn more about people and yourself, good, bad, ugly, beautiful, however you will have it. I love the way moving your physical body, just from one place to the next exposes it to the way the world is so wonderfully shaped! Filled with such wonderful, diverse (so diverse!) people! So many humans!
What I Can Share with Hosts
Very likely, some dank cheese.
