About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Finding out what to do in my next 40 years
ABOUT ME
I'm a TLC engineer, working as a consultant for mobile operators.
Well, I'd love to have half a dozen of children but up to now seems I'm not so good nor lucky at this kind of stuff... In the meanwhile I adore making plans for my spare time: travels and short trips, sports, going out with friends, etc.
PHILOSOPHY
I think that everyday job, mainly a technical one like mine, needs to be integrated with a lifestyle based on a mix of humanistic interests, physical activity and curiosity about the world.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I live in quite a big apartment in Padova, a nice town 30 kms from Venice. So, when one of my friend told me about CS membership, I found interesting to share my flat with new friends.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
At the moment I've just joined the community, but in 2006 I went to Stockholm on CS with one of my friends.
I find it a good way to visit towns, not as an ordinary tourist but sharing experience and advice with people who can give you a real added value to your travel.
Interests
In the last 3 years I've discovered the magic of bike holidays, up to now crossing Italy, in the future going abroad.
I've played football for many years, now I'm mostly a runner (1 marathon per year + several half marathons); on TV I prefer watching tennis and rugby.
My further interests are arts and reading, and above all movies: I'm crazy about the old classics from 1930's to 80's...
