About Me
CURRENT MISSION
My current mission is to learn fluent Chinese, find a dragon and play Majiang the whole day
:D
ABOUT ME
Okay so I am Danish. That probably makes me an easy-going, beer-drinking person with weird black humor and lots of funny directly translated bullsh.., and yeah that is probably very right in many ways.
But I am also shy (sometimes, not often), like to listen to a good story and I am good at doing photography and zumba dancing, I also know a great deal about China, just check out my YouTube Lenaaround and you'll know :p
PHILOSOPHY
Just go for it .. because you'll only regret what you didn't do
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am trying to meet new people from around the world, because I'm a little too curious to just not do it. I love listening to other people's stories and I'm all in to try a new path, either alone or in great company.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've tried it, and it is really fun, interesting and challenging at times. I've been hosting different types of people and every single one of them has given me some new knowledge about life, love, travel etc. I've met extremely outgoing travelers and more laid-back people. This is cool because it challenges me; how to communicate and make the best out of the situation.
Interests
Anything I am interested in? That is going to be a very long list, but yes I like to talk, sleep, read a good book, study Chinese, gossiping, meet new people, go crazy on taobao (chinese crazy cheap internet market), jump and do horseback riding.
And this was just for a starter :)
- books
- photography
- dancing
- beer
- running
- zumba
- drinking
- flying
- traveling
- equestrian
Music, Movies, and Books
I mostly read English short story romances, because I'm lost in cute love stories.
But I also read a lot of Chinese history books, and watch tv series both in English and Chinese, just for fun!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
1) The sunset of a small village in Vietnam. It was stunning and I was speechless.
2) When I saw the great wall the first time. That makes you speechless (Just sad my camera had a blackout that day, probably as shocked as myself)
3) Doing horseback riding without holding the horse, I'll let it run and hold my hands in the air and imagine I'm flying.
Teach, Learn, Share
I would like to say something really smart, but I am not a genius with extreme knowledge that you guys would benefit from ;)
Maybe just '好好学习,天天向上' - study hard and you'll only get better.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm easy-going and like to talk about cultural differences, travels around the world and I'll probably let you in on some Danish secrets as well ;)
