I live in Brussels at the moment, though I grew up in Austria and feel European rather than Austrian (or Belgian...). I am a thoughtful, open-minded person with a little crazy in the mix :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Unfortunately, at the moment I don't have the means to offer a couch. What I can offer, though, is some hours of my free time to show you the beauties of my current home town, Brussels.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

very useful tips and interesting discussion in Oslo; very nice guided tour through Paris and lots of fun bar evenings in Kyoto; two meetings in Seoul and the resulting discovery of potentially the best Seoul-ian Heavy Metal bar; lots of nice Japanese people sharing food and storys with me in Tokyo.

Interests

reading, listening to and playing music, drawing/painting, meeting new people, writing, (medieval) history, acquiring useless knowledge and doing some sports (Taiho Jutsu, for example).

Music, Movies, and Books

I read basically everything I can get my hands on, with slight preference to fantasy (Lord of the Rings, etc.). Music-wise, I prefer classic music and rock/metal, but also there, I am open to new experiences.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

having decided to live in Portugal (for a while) almost spontaneously. Best decision I ever made!

Teach, Learn, Share

- Cooking: I can show you how to cook some nice Austrian dishes, like Strudel - or just prepare some for you.
- Sharing languages - I would be interested in speaking Norwegian again, I can offer German, English, French and Portuguese.

What I Can Share with Hosts

At the moment, I have no couch free, unfortunately. Nevertheless, I can offer my spare time, meeting up for a coffee, chatting and doing some sightseeing in and around Brussels.
