ABOUT ME

I like to think of myself as a well-rounded, multi-faceted, and generally interesting person. I grew up in a military, multicultural family and have been fortunate enough to experience and enjoy many places from an early age. I will soon have lived in Seattle, WA for over ten consecutive years, the longest my restless soul has ever stayed put.
I like new places, new people, new things, new experiences. I live for that butterflies feeling you get in your stomach when dealing with something new.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Though my couch-surfing experience is small, I have several friends and acquaintances who have participated extensively. I've met several couchsurfers through these friends and am excited to finally have the opportunity to participate when I can.

Interests

Music, Movies, and Books

I tend to enjoy movies that are often classified as dramas, black comedies, and independent.
I love electronic music. I think most of the music I've bought lately has been produced by Scandinavian electronic musicians. I also like "independent" music, KEXP is a favorite radio station.
I don't have a particular type of book that I read. I tend to read more fiction than non-fiction. I've been known to grab a book from the Oprah's Book Club. I take Michiko Kakutani's reviews pretty seriously. I fully admit, with great pride, that I own (in the American and UK versions) and have read and reread each and every Harry Potter book.
