About Me
Well, I don't know really. Experiences over posessions. Good (real) food. Trying to become a no-wast person. DIY in many ways. A "why not?"-mentality.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
During my life I did quite a lot of couchsurfing while traveling - although the term couchsurfing did not exist yet by that time. In the years I enjoyed the hospitality and the time I spent with people who lived in the countries I visited and whom I woulnd't have met otherwise. Also inhabitants know places the Lonely Planet doesn't know.
I would like to pass this experience on to my teenage daughter, I'd like her to meet people from other countries/cultures - in our house and on holidays.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Learning how to milk cows.
Teach, Learn, Share
Easy does it.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Our bicycles. The 'Zaanse Schans'. A railwaystation 20 minutes from Amsterdam CS. A nice meal prepared with biological grown food from my own garden.
