ABOUT US

We are up to doing and experiencing pretty much anything, love a good glass of wine, and then are obsessed w/ gourmet European cooking and farm to table concepts.

We've done six cross-country road trips and camped and backpacked London & Bath, UK. Our last trip was to Iceland where we did the entire Ring Rd. via public bus system. Absolutely amazing and want to go back! ...Our next dream vacas though are: Rome, Italy to see the Vatican, Scotland & Norse lands! We want to eventually hike the Pacific crest trail, Hadrian's Wall and up to Count Vllad's castle.

We absolutely love to travel & are always trying to find ways to go somewhere new. If you'd like to get a coffee, beer, or just say hola let us know!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We're here to give advice to anyone who may need it and to hopefully receive the same.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We haven't surfed any couches via couchsurfer's, but are really hoping to in the near future! It's the greatest idea ever invented and we've had a few friends that have couchsurfed, all w/ good experiences. We wish we had a couch available for others, but due to our constant movement it makes it difficult. Working on our goal of getting property so we can assist other travelers!

...Climbed up Mount Vesuvius in Pompeii, Italy, saw the feline occupants of the Colosseum, climbed the Eiffel Tower, hiked the Alps of Austria, ate goat cheese and mint tea in the markets of Morocco, rode a camel, saw blue sheep in Scotland...woken up to amazing views atop mountains in Cibola National Forest, NM, blown away in a tent near Carlsbad Caverns, awestruck by the smallness of Mt. Rushmore, rained out in the forests of the Olympic Peninsula, WA & filled up our cantines w/ fresh snow in Utah!

We have been traveling innkeepers and boutique hotel managers for 10 years, and are retiring to Oregon. We lived in Newport for our first b&b gig, and fell in love with the PNW. We are originally from FL, but have lived in MA, CO, CA, WA & OR.
