ABOUT ME

I just moved to Nice, France on New Year's Day of 2015 to study for a year. Prior to that, I was working in the Banking Industry in San Francisco for about 6 years with a break in between where I went to Korea to teach English and travel. I have also taught English in Japan right after graduating from University.

I love to travel and try new things.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My experience has been limited to being a guest and all 3 times have been amazing. In Colmar, I spent an afternoon gardening with my host. My host in Lyon, spent the day driving me to a beatiful town Annecy and we took photographs of the scenery. In Mumbai, my host took great care of me, took me to places, and made sure I was safe.

These experiences were so amazing and I really do feel that Couchsurfing helps me understand how locals live and give me a better perspective on life.

- Swimming with whale sharks in the Phillippines
- Surrounding myself in a firefly-filled mangrove forest
- Hiking up a mountain to reach a temple in torrential downpour
- Jumping off a two-story junk into Ha Long Bay
- Stargazing while sleeping on the deck of a Turkish gullet

I want to experience the culture, food and language from places I visit. I know Cantonese and Mandarin, and can share my knowledge of San Francisco, Seoul, Hong Kong, and Kyoto.
