About Me

I'm a rather quiet, a tad shy person, but I love meeting new people and experiencing. I'm open minded, enjoy travelling and all the different impressions that come with it. Travelling feeds the soul and leaves you much richer, so I try to do it as much as possible, all while trying to leave as little of an impact on the environment as possible.

My passion for sustainability has also lead me to my uni course, as I'm currently studying environmental engineering and management. I believe we have a responsibility to fight climate change.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to learn about a culture in a more unusual, personal and exciting way, and staying or chatting with a person from a different culture allows just that.

I used couchsurfing as a surfer while I was travelling through SEA and met a lot of amazing people, many of whom I still call good friends today. So now that I'm back in Germany, I started hosting myself to pay back to the community.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: almost everything, my taste in music reaches from reggae to punk rock to indie all the way to pop

Books: Too many to list them here. No seriously, I read about everything from novels to scientific books

Movies: View from a blue moon (it's a surfmovie), Call me by your name, every Pirates of the Carribean movie

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A few things come to my mind, but why don't we have a chat about it?

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm fluent in German and English, so I can teach you a word or two.
If you're interested in dancing (dancing as in waltzing, samba or other couple dances) then I'm more than willing to practise with you.
Since I highly value learning I'd love to learn whatever you can teach me! Be that a new skill, a new language or something about your culture.
