Hello guys! I am a 23-year old girl form the lovely city Graz in Austria where I live now since I started studying on university four years ago.
I see myself as an open-minded person with whom you can have lots of fun but also long talks about everything :) I love sharing stories and experiences and get to know new people from all over the world!
I am always torn between my passion and ambition for my studies (I am studying Math and German language to become a teacher - so I am a bit nerdy), going out and trying new things and my family who I love the most.
Buddhist would call me a mess because I'm never satisfied with my situation and always searching for more in life. And since I started travelling I've experienced that there is SO MUCH MORE to see, to do, to feel...

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

I actually discovered the travelling for me 2 years ago when I was on an Interrail trip and then my trip to Indonesia. Sadly I have many friends who are not in alternative travelling like simple backpacking on low budget but I don't want the lack of company ruin my passion for travelling. I'm on Couchsurfing not only to get a cheap accomodation of course but to get connected with people all around the world ans make some friends :) Especially I am here to make some contacts to local people who can show me their home city away from touristic places and just to have some company during my stay on days and evenings! So if people just want to meet up I am also happy!

I am a 'talky' person and someone who wants to get know everything and can be interested in every kind of stuff easily. So if someone comes up with a topic I love discussions and sharing ideas but also just listen to new stuff I know nothing about yet. I am very interested in travelling to get to know other cultures, point of views, ways of living.
I am a full time student, so I am studying all day (because my whole passion is about becoming a good teacher in my subjects Math and German language) but go out at night to meet up with friends. I am always looking for new things to try like new sports or a theatre group because I am not good at doing nothing. I have no TV so when I have nothing to do I am most of the time reading or sometimes playing the guitar.

To be honest my taste in music is special. I am very influenced by the music of my father who had me listen to the music of the 60s and 70s. I just LOVE Psychedelic music! Music is a topic I can talk about for hours. I love the stories behind songs, the bands and the philosophy about the music in general.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

I was in Indonesia for two month to teach at a local school. I had a hostfamily there and on weekends I was travelling around to see some fascinating places like temples, beaches, cities, nature. The experiences I made there changed me and the way how I look on things. The temples, beaches, restaurants etc. were very nice but nothing compared to the long conversations I had with local people and the simple every-day-life I shared with my host family. That's why I want to meet up with local people when I am visiting a place. (I can talk about my experiences in Indonesia for ages with people who are interested in - and also sometimes when they are already sick about my stories.)

Was ich mit Gastgebern teilen kann

I grew up on the beautiful country side of Styria (Graz is the capital of Styria) which is known for the good food ("Buschenschank"), wine and nature. I grew up near the "Riegersburg" which is not only known for the castle but also for the Zotter chocolate manufactory. If someone is interested in those kind of things I can also show them these places. (You can get there by train/bus in 1 hour from Graz!)
