Hello, my name is Lena, I'm 21 years old and I study German and French Literature and Culture in Bonn.
I live together with my best friend Julia a little apart from the city in her grandmas house.
I grew up in a small town where you cannot find any cultural institutions like museums, theatres,,, there is not even a well appointed library. So after I finished school, I took the chance to leave that small town to find a place with people who enjoy all the things the city offers them. You may say "Well, there are much bigger cities than Bonn and cities with a lot more cultural offer." but what I enjoy in Bonn is a relaxed citylife. The people are relaxed there, they don't bump into each other and everyone is helpful. There is also the rhine and a little beach that is known by the fewest where you can watch the sun getting down. Maybe you want to come and see it by yourself?
Anyway, I love to explore new places and to get to know extraordinary people.
Right now I'm on my first adventure - my first semester abroad in Toulouse (France).
I just got here and do not have a place to stay yet, that's how I got the idea of doing couch-surfing - is there any better way to get to know people and the new area?
So I would be very happy if you would like to put me up. :)
