Overview
About Me
I'm a native Berliner living in the bay area at the moment. Since I like to watch Star Wars and Star Trek one could call me a nerd, but I also have lots of other interests such as art, music, philosophy, literature, languages.. bla bla bla. I'm doing a master's in cognitive neuroscience now after finishing my bachelor's in psychology, so if you have questions about the brain, I might be able to answer them. Spoiler alert: You don't only use 10% of it!
PHILOSOPHY
The sky is blue.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I used to host A LOT, surfed quite a bit through Europe, went to some meetings. Now I'm mainly trying to stay in touch with friends I made throughout this time, but might host/ travel some more, too.
I like the idea that couchsurfing is a community in which one can't buy anything with money (well, at least we, the members) but social contact, new experiences, interesting information and so on are the underlying currencies. You always get back what you give without expectations!
Interests
I can't really decide whether I'm more the nerdy scientist type who gets super excited about the math behind data analysis and stuff, or the empathic and sensitive psychologist who would rather spend hours and hours talking to people about their deepest emotions and thoughts. Probably both. But then again, I like to endulge in watching funny youtube videos while eating french fries sometimes.

Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you some German tongue twisters. I can tell you what it was like to grow up in Berlin. As mentioned before, I know some stuff about the brain. And I'm a really good listener. I'd like to learn about you. :) What was the most spontaneous thing you ever did?
What I Can Share with Hosts
Long conversations about cool shit.
I can cook for you. Yes, I'd buy the groceries too, unless it's a 10-person household.
How about an art session? I draw, you.. [fill in your favorite creative action].
