I love to travel and meet new people. At 14 I went to Japan, 17 spent a year in Chile and when I graduated from high school I spent a year traveling through Central America, Egypt, Isreal, Greece, Germany.. I've been living for 15 years in Brazil, ever since a year long exchange program in college. Brazil captured my heart and soul. I love the music and culture and am involved in various groups in Paraty, RJ where I live with my 14 year old son. I have been working with organic agriculture for over 15 years and since I started a Waldorf school in town 8 years ago, have been involved in Alternative Education. I run a school garden program at the local public middle school. I love children, pets, music and art, good food (life-long vegetarian) and everything that is nature and its beauty.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I enjoy being a part of the local culture when I travel, meeting new people and exchanging experiences. I have been involved as a host in the work away program for nearly a year and have enjoyed meeting people from all over the world.
