About Me

I am currently an exchange student in Brisbane, Australia and enjoy learning about social work here.

Will be back in Germany for spring to finish up my studies there and be reunited with my favourite dog lady :).

I'm rather quiet and cautious but also can talk a lot if I want to.
I'm always up for fun and love the adventure.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My school has a partnership to a school in Windhoek. So in 2009 I had the amazing chance to travel with a little group to Namibia. The aim there was to visit the students in our partnership school, do 2 weeks of rebuild work in the slums in Katutura (mostly kindergardens) and 2 weeks of travelling around Namibia. It was the most amazing and best thing I have ever done in my life untill now!! An experience that had really touched me was this: on our journey we had also visit an ophanage in Windhoek to donate food and play with the children (they never get visitors). When we opened the gate to the house all children were running to us with full of happiness in their faces although they didn't know us and we were foreign to them. I was so amazed by this and impressed how they can be so happy to see visitors even though they have nothing and are so poor. That was one of my all time favourite moments :).

I travelled to Africa, Namibia and saw Namibia's desert region which was the most beautiful landscape I've ever seen.
