I'm here because I thoroughly enjoy engaging with people of cultures different than my own.
A firm believer in the "local" experience, I like to get as involved in a country as I can for the length of my time I'm fortunate enough to be there.
I seek out challenge and am up for most adventures.
I enjoy travel with friends, partners, and alone, but believe traveling by oneself can often be rewarded with the most spontaneous and fabulously strange of events.
Making international friends comes with the rewards of shared travel and history, as well as getting to see treasured spots by locals (which I aim to reciprocate in return).
As a curious individual fascinated by people's stories, I learn the most about the world through understanding how others tick.

I like a wide array of musical genres, but am particular about subgenres within, including:
- Acid jazz, IDM, alt hip hop, jazz fusion, old school industrial, synthpop, trip hop, progressive house + trance.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

Climbed Mt. Fuji when it was off season. Got mild hypothermia, found an inn, and passed out. Woke up several hours later to continue my trek to the top.
Clubbed for 36 hours straight on a weekend-only trip to Berlin from San Francisco.
Savored the stars while wading in a natural hot spring on the borders of California, Nevada, and Mexico with a collection of incredible, progressive artists.
