Hey there! I’m Lena, a 23 yo German girl who is studying in Freiburg in Breisgau. 4 years ago I visited California and traveled down the west coast. Last year I went to New York City with my best friends and afterward explored Peru. It was such a great experience and now I want to start a new journey on my own to explore Portugal!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I just heard about CS from a friend and I love the concept of looking behind the facades by meeting locals and getting to know places for what they’re really about and not just visit the touri spots and fly home again. Other than that, I would love to improve my mediocre “school English” and and also a few portuguese words.
But first and foremost I want to expand my horizons by traveling to a different country, meeting new people from all around the world and getting to know their cultures. Also, it’s going to help me grow as a person besides meeting new people and gaining knowledge. I‘ve met such awesome person on my trips and I‘m so thankful for this chance!

I enjoy going to the movies or a comfy movie night at home with friends as long as it’s not a horror movie though.

What I Can Share with Hosts
