Overview
About Me
Hello together, my name is Lena and I am from Germany. As I do not live there most of the time, it is quite hard for me to host people. I love to change my country of work and living and the advantages it brings, such as learning new languages, meeting new people and seeing a lot of things you have never seen before.
I enjoy music alot, I must say my time as an Aupair in London spoiled me a lot, I have never been so close to a city with so many artists and went to see some quite good bands and musicians (Bastille, Twenty One Pilots, Death Cab for cutie, Taylor Swift (haha yes im guilty)). Furthermore I love reading and exchanging about books. I used to read alot of the classic teen books in the style of twilight and co but lately started reading thrillers like gone girl, dark places, sharp objects ( you rock Gillian Flynn!) and also the classics such as Peter Pan, Alice in Wonderland, Edgar Allan Poe, To kill a mockingbird, pretty much anything I get my hands on. If you have any tips for me dont hesitate!
Additionally I love short trips/ weekend tips with friends or alone to different cities and countries and meeting the people that live there. That is the main reason I decided to join couchsurfing. Not only doing the sightseeing of the cities but also meeting the people that live in them. Sharing stories, eating together; its almost like meeting a weekend family. :D
I am currently working at Disneyland Paris and keep returning there for seasonal contracts but I have a new Adventure on my mind, I would like to move to Berlin and find work there. That is my new plan, so I am currently looking for a host for my first few days in Berlin!
Interests
I forgot I also love hiking, probably not for the hiking part itself, but more for arrival on a high spot, having an amazing overview, for the feeling of getting somewhere spectecular!
Furthermore I enjoy musicals, although I haven't seen a lot yet. (Wicked is nothing less than amazing!)

Music, Movies, and Books
Oh well, I put all of this in the first field ..
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Leaving my city after I finished school to start my first adventure as Aupair in the US, Philadelphia. Never have I gotten on a plane before, or so far away from my city and family. Never have I felt so alone and lost in the first few days, but hey that's how it all started! The first big journey to go work and live somewhere else.
Moving to Paris to work for Disney without knowing the language. Very scary as well, at least to me at the time, but it turned out fine and I had a even better time there then on my first journey. I met so many lovely people from all over the world. Thats the real melting pot, Disneyland Paris!
