Hi, I’m Lena and I’m 23. Currently I live in Saint-Petersburg, I moved here 5 years ago, because I started my bachelor degree in International relations, then after my graduation I stayed here because actually my all family moved here too and this autumn I started my master degree in innovative marketing 🙃
About my interests, well I’m a pretty sporty girl, can’t live without trainings, but I prefer to visit dance classes😋 (because it allows you not just to feel physically good, but it’s like a therapy for your soul too), especially if there is a good music!) I think I can’t live without music, my best friends are my earphones, because I won’t be able to get over my day without listening to music from it!! Also I love to do works for self improvement, to make little challenges to achieve goals. I love to plan and then to get results. But at the same time I love spontaneous things or try to make myself haha. Well at least one more challenge for the best version of myself)

Why I decided to use Couchsurfing? Well because I’m endlessly obsessed with different cultures! That’s the main reason of my first degree, where I had an amazing opportunity not just to learn about cultural diversity, but also meet and speak with people from different cultures exactly in my university and beyond actually (I had the short exchange program in Germany). I’m a pretty curious person. So I like explore everything about new culture. Hah I remembered one moment, in August of 2018 it was my 1st experience of Couchsurfing in Barcelona and I was so suprised by people, by country and by culture at all, so after how I came back home from there I made public talks about this country all next semester in my university😅 thanks my friends from Couchsurfing who made me to fall in love with this country and with Couchsurfing at all.

Couchsurfing is about opening your eyes, in case if people during their travel try to assimilate to new culture. When you assimilate you actually understand that your basepoint point of “normal” life is wrong.. so I think great start to live a life you want!
