Hi, we are Merijn and Lena. I (Lena) recently finished my BA in religious studies at Groningen University and will start my masters in intercultural communication next year. Merijn, who is my boyfriend, will finish his masters in cultural geography next year. He plays guitar. We live together in Arnhem, but this summer we will be travelling France!

I love travelling! It is my passion for sure. My hobbies are seeking adventure, hiking, cycling, martial arts, experiencing culture and talking to people, but relaxing and enjoying the sun is something I love as well. I like to really get to know a place or a person.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The best thing about travelling is to meet new people and to experience their culture. I think couchsurfing is an amazing way to do so.
