Hello, there. My name is Xu Jingru. If you are not able to pronounce it, then just call me my English name Lena:) I am here as other couchsurfers to meet new people and learn different cultures and lifestyles. I define myself as a friendly and easy going person. I am always interested in something different from me.

Usually I live in Chengdu city. But I won’t be able to host here. I would like to meet people and show around. But if you are interested in hiking, I may host you at my home in the middle of the mountains, which is a bit far from Chengdu city. It’s located in Dayi county near Chengdu city. Need to take a high speed train for half an hour and a bus for 1 hour, then hike for 1 and half hours or take a taxi to reach my beautiful home. It’s an adventure haha. I usually go there on Mondays and back on Tuesdays or Wednesdays. I will take you to the hiking trail too. So if you would like to stay with me, please specify this in your message. One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

1.started traveling and using CS.
2. Travelled around Eastern and Southern Africa alone.
3.hitchhiked from Yunnan, China 🇨🇳 to Tibet.
4.hitchhiked around Azerbaijan 🇦🇿, Georgia 🇬🇪 , and Armenia 🇦🇲.
5. Took a bath in Lake Malawi.
6. Swam in Indian Ocean in Zanzibar even though I don’t really know how to swim.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am working as a private English teacher in my city Chengdu. I work from 6-9 pm on weekdays and full day on weekends. If you come across my city, Feel free to contact me. I can probably show you around Or take you to try the local food. At least can give you some advices.

What I Can Share with Hosts

2.If you would like to learn Chinese, I can definitely be a good teacher, even though life is too short to learn Chinese.
