Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am new to couchsurfing but from what I've heard from my friends I believe that it's a perfect way to immerse into another culture because no guides and no books can tell you more about the contry you visit than the people that live in it. I think that here I'll be able to meet beautiful, open-minded people and, hopefully, make some new friends.

Books: anything written by Douglas Adams, Leo Tolstoy, or Chuck Palahniuk. A rather strange set of preferences, but what can you do, hah
