About Me

When traveling I mostly stay in places for several months, meeting people, making friends. I enjoyed volunteering in India and Thailand and studying languages wherever I go.
Right now I am on a shorter trip through Central Asia back towards Europe, where I will be starting a PhD in October.
I am curious and enjoy good conversations. Together with a friend I started a project to document stories of people whose voices are usually not heard. I am dedicated to the idea of giving people a voice at the moment.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

When I did a one-year-students exchange to Honduras during high school and was hosted by a family for the entire time, the idea of sharing cultures and customs caught me. This experience got me involved in couch surfing later to meet people while traveling, to open my house to people from around the world and to share experiences.
I enjoyed couchsurfing in several countries, met amazing people and had really good experiences hosting, too.

Interests

I am interested in learning languages and meeting people. I like reading. I enjoy good conversations and am interested in learning about people's perspectives. I enjoy discussing ideas on politics, history, philosophy, religion and whatever you might come up with.
