Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have now hosted and/or met Couchsurfers from Michigan, Germany, and Belgium. We shared food and stories and I was able to show a couple of people around Chicago, my favorite city. All were great experiences and confirmed for me that Couchsurfers across the globe are a loving, helpful, free-spirited group of people!

Interests

Running and hiking, biking (especially in the city), and exploring while doing all of the above. Reading in different languages. Drinking coffee. Experimental cooking, especially dishes from different cultures. Long conversations with friends (around a fire if ever possible.)

Walked for 8 days on the northern route of the Camino de Santiago in Basque Country—and I WILL return to finish it!

I know how to light a campfire, I speak French and some Arabic, I make a mean omelette and strong coffee, specialize in theater and event production, and I drive stick shift.
