ABOUT ME

Hey, I'm Lena and I'm from Germany. I'm an open-minded person who loves to discover and try out new things.
I grew up in Celle, a rather small town in Germany but I traveled around quite a bit. I lived in Houston, Texas for three years when I was younger and since two years my new home is Perth, Western Australia and I love the lifestyle here.
I have just graduated from high school and am now taking a gap year before going to university next year.
My friend Kati and I have recently booked a RTW ticket and will be backpacking for six months beginning in January 2013. Our route will be Perth - Sydney - Fiji - Vancouver - Los Angeles - Lima - Santiago (Chile) - Buenos Aires
I am passionate about traveling and love to experience different cultures.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Although I only started couchsurfing in January 2013, I already had plenty great experiences. Meeting so many different people makes traveling a lot more interesting and I am learning that it is the people who make a place special.
