I'm a 23-year-old German and I'm still little lost in my own Country. I enjoy travelling to places I've never been before as well as returning to places I love. I love to meet new people from all over the world to hear their stories.
I lived in New Zealand for a while. Since I feel like it's more out there to see and still hundreds of mother earth's wonders to explore and take my breath away.
Travel is a huge passion of mine and I definitely want to see Australia, Canada and America one day. It's a whole lotta fun to let me have a nap on your couch or to visit me here back in Europe.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing, for me, is all about connections, with people and places.

Some countries have had a special impact on me.

NEW ZEALAND is where I have lived for one year in 2013, and where my heart feels most at home. It has been teaching me a lot about self-reliance, and about how wonderful life can be when you let go of fixed ideas or plans.

NORWAY gives me a sense of peace and strength that I don't feel anywhere else.

GREAT BRITAIN and its Islands has added beauty to my life and gifted me all the fantastic people I have met from there.

Recently I backpacked Greece's Countryside which was a nice surprise because I didn't expect Europe to be so backpackable at all.
I was so stoked about it that it kinda made up my plan to discover the countries and its folks next to me with nothing else than a backpack, happy feet, and my open mind!

So I look forward to exploring the ways in which they will connect with me.

Interests

Travelling is a huge passion of mine and I enjoy hiking/trekking, outdoors and motorcycling a lot. I love to cook together and I'm always ready for spontaneous ideas.

Music, Movies, and Books

Openminded for good vibes but loving old school Rock and all out of the 70's. Everything that prepared some gentle Sounds for my ears is very welcome as well.

Not so much 'into' movies so I most randomly stumble upon all kind of different stuff.
Some films I like are Interstellar, Natural Born Killers, WILD - the big trip, LOTR (which wanted me to see New Zealand as well), Gremlins, Into the Wild, Cabinet of Dr Parnassus, Oldboy, Brokeback Mountain, American Psyco, Harry Potter, ..

Reading a good book on a sunny day doing nothing else is pure joy but mostly I'm running out of time..
Some stuff I liked or am reading recently is Herman Hesse - idiosyncrasy is fun, Common Plants, Traces, The trail of the whales ..

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

There are hundreds of amazing things, so I cannot really say which memory is my favorite.

I hitchhiked New Zealand with my good friend Isabell and I simply had the best time of my life so far! .. I made myself Dreadlocks in this year which I loved a lot for a long long time, but recently my boyfriend cut them all off to help me remember how nice soft hair can be as well ;p

What I Can Share with Hosts

My flat, my garden (heaps of apples if you visit me in summer), I also love to cook and bake and like to learn new recipes, or share mine.
