ABOUT ME
Please take the effort to read my profile before asking to meet with me, thank you :D. Type the word "Selamat" in your message heading to indicate that you read as I will only respond to such messages.
I have hosted and I have couch-surfed and shared CS concepts and ideas with members and the like and, we share one common sentiment ... CouchSurfing is about sharing and learning.
I've been travelling for a long time now, and don't think I'll be tiring of it anytime soon ... it's a learning experience, every single journey.
Passion when visiting places, is to see what makes the destination/people tick, often going off the "beaten track", getting to the real flavour of the destination.
PHILOSOPHY
Carpe diem.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
There's so much to be derived from communicating, whether one's travelling, physically or otherwise.
Some perspectives may evolve as we venture and see more of life. I have discovered that continual learning is part of living (an understatement actually!).
Life is rich, and the richness is multiplied when we share life experiences.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
When hosting, my visitors will get to see/experience places/dimensions, off-the-beaten-track and savour a personal tour that they wont be getting through any other tour companies (so I've been told :D).
In turn, I embrace being introduced to similar dimensions of cities that I visit ... being part of a processed tour itinerary just isnt my cuppa.
Had amazing Kitchen Parties in Prague, Paris and Barcelona during two Eu trips. I'm so looking forward to more of these wherever I go !
Interests
Travelling, visiting places where even the locals may not have visited. Keen interest in history, architecture, design, art, people, culture, sociology, diaspora in general, education etc etc.

Music, Movies, and Books
A whole gamut.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
(1) Having witnessed people with so "little", being willing to give so much (2) Learnt not to take everything one has/has not too seriously.
Teach, Learn, Share
If you've come from a First Line city or a First World Country, go visit the areas with emerging (or yet to emerge!) economies, Third World Countries etc. It does not only make you appreciate what you have, but it'll help you better understand where we have all come from, where we're at, where we're headed for, and how we can go about "giving back" ... it can only be a fulfilling experience
