I am Leni, 26 years old. Just finished my MA in Rostock and will keep on working for the university in Rostock, as well as currently starting only PhD. I love traveling, but never without my ukulele - sadly, due to covid and personal stuff it has been a little difficult these past years.

I love doing sports, mainly yoga (I am a certified yoga instructor) and martial arts (Ju Jutsu). I am rather communicative, but also enjoy some me-time in my bath tub with a good book.

Me and my roomie are really open-minded and do not accept any racist, homophobic , transphobic, sexist or somehow discriminating content in our apartment.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I had great experiences during my journeys with several hosts, now that I have finally enough space to host myself I really want to give back all the love and help that I have received!

So far I have met really lovely people, with whom I still am in contact regularly. I am looking forward to making more friends all over the world and showing them a little of Rostock and our lives here.

Interests

I love going to the theatre and cinema regularly. I am not much of a party person, but I love going to concerts and music sessions. I play a lot of music myself, I love singing, I play the piano and ukulele.

I love doing sports, usually I enjoy doing a lot of yoga and I train martial arts on a regular basis. But I also like to play handball, volleyball and go swimming.

Also, I LOVE all kinds of board games and have a weird obsession with my childhood favorite Harry Potter :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

We can always have music sessions, I also love to cook. I like to take time to get to know the hosts and show them around in Rostock, if they like. Always open for movie nights, I could also show my own productions I have participated in as a filmmaker.

We can go on a beach tour, as Rostock is located near the Baltic Sea. But also just stay in and have a lazy day. In our flat we all speak good English, I speak Spanish well and understand and speak a little French - always open to learn new languages, and to teach them ;)
