The German word for "hospitality" is "Gastfreundschaft" which means "guest-friendship". I really like this word (though I admit that we Germans are not really famous for our hospitality :D ). If the world was based on the principle of Gastfreundschaft (instead of capitalism, postcolonial structures etc.) wouldn't we live in paradise?

So I promise I'll try not to be too "German" ;-)

Thinking about a better world is actually what I do mainly in my life since I study Peace and Conflict studies. I am very much interested in the power of arts like music, film, theatre, literature etc. for social change. In my freetime I organize a movie series in my hometown, attend music festivals or interesting workshops/lectures, meet with friends, do yoga or rowing, discuss politics etc.
