I’m based in Vienna, Austria, where I typically balance work and studies. I recently wrapped up an exchange semester for my master’s in Melbourne, Australia, and now I’m exploring Thailand as I make my way back home.

I’m passionate about meeting new people, immersing myself in different cultures, and enjoying life’s little (and big) joys—art, photography, history, politics, bad singing, even worse dancing, Aperol Spritz, bagels, spontaneous adventures, and finding that sweet balance between high-energy excitement and relaxed downtime.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Traveling on a tight budget right after high school taught me how incredible the kindness and generosity of strangers can be. I was lucky to have people welcome me into their homes and share their cities with me, and it left a lasting impression. Once I settled into my own apartment in Vienna, I made it a priority to give back and host others.

While I’ve had some truly enriching experiences on this platform, I’ve also faced challenges, particularly as a young female solo traveler. I want to be clear: I’m not here to find a hookup, and I have zero tolerance for harassment. If anyone crosses that line, I will report them without hesitation. It’s frustrating and disheartening to see some people abuse the trust and community spirit this platform is meant to foster.

That said, I’m still passionate about the idea of Couchsurfing as a space for sharing—whether it’s a roof, stories, ideas, or culture. The incredible people I’ve met through this platform remind me why I keep coming back, and I’m excited to create more meaningful connections along the way.
