I am a 24-year old passionate environmental consultant for an international environmental NGO. I grew up in New York City and was raised by Russian immigrants. I studied Chinese in college so I am also fluent in Mandarin. I love to travel and explore new cultures and local sites.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Living with a local allows me to dive right into a new culture and see what it is like to actually live in a new city, not just visit. I think the best way to get to know a country or culture is to do as the locals do and how better to do that than by staying with a local!
