I'm a 27-year-old interpreting student from Germany and I'm really passionate about traveling and learning new languages. After highschool I spent 5 months in Italy and 6 months in Chile as an aupair, at first to improve my language skills, but I later noticed how much you can learn from meeting new people and living in another country, so that's when my passion for traveling started. Ever since then I used my inter-semester-holidays to travel and live abroad, so that I traveled through many Latin American countries, did an internship in Mexico and spent one semester in Málaga.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I used to stay in hostels while traveling and I enjoy the international ambiance there, so that I started working in a hostel in Germany. However, for my own trips I wanted to try another kind of traveling and I guess that if you really want to get to know a place with its culture, the way to do it is meeting local people and ideally having them show you around and explain you things.
