Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Pragmatize my ideals without resentment, catch as many sunny days as possible
ABOUT ME
I always wanted to be a pilot, but ended up studying psychology. I love people, they are awesome. If there is one thing I learned during my travels it's that humans are nice and friendly, everywhere. I can live with the couple of exceptions. Perhaps it sounds pathetic but I am almost always happy when I am traveling, always before my next travel I expect the feeling to be different, but it never is.
PHILOSOPHY
Everyday has its special purpose, i don't have a far away goal in my life I am running after, but try to give every day an unique sense. That sounds trivial and pretentious but is very important to me.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am enjoying a lot to give a real home to all the awesome travelers! I want to be challenged and inspired and do the same to the people I meet.
Interests
I love music and play the sax quite well, always wanted to learn to play the guitar as well, but it is basically standing around in my room without being used and makes me a bad conscience :) I write for a students newspaper and am active in university politics. I love reading and sleeping, I could fill my days with that! At my psychology school I have research job (it's about research on intelligence) I am very enthusiastic about. Climbing is one of my favourite sports. I love modern art, especially pollock and klimt, and was overwhelmed the first time I went to the MoMA. I don't watch TV, but enjoy good movies.

Music, Movies, and Books
My favorite author is Hermann Hesse, I love John Irving, adore Murakami, enjoy classics like Hemingway, Tolstoy, Dostoevsky, Thomas Mann... I just love books!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Yesterday I saw three rainbows here at the cost of Boston. Okay, that's not that interesting...What perhaps impressed me the most during my travels was the feeling of being completely alone that I had when I spend 2 weeks in a wood cabin in Australia, which was a 3 hours walk away from the next village.
