HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I see some guests if my time allows and I contact couch surfers as I am travelling.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have been travelling with SERVAS for over 25 years. SERVAS is a peace organisation, and is very similar to CS. Meeting people strengthens the peace on earth, each friendship is a bridge connecting us.
We have very few CS experience so far, we wish to have some more.
Interests
films, books, music - collecting all of those
My profession is electrical engineer. I have graduated in Dresden, Germany, at the Technical University.
I have been working for 25 years in the field of software development, as programmer, analyst, project manager, in Hungary and in seven European countries. Few years of my life I have been producing cultural films about education, concerts and theatre, and published pedagogical, scientific and artistic books. (www.klaris.hu) I have been teaching informatics and gymnastics in a Waldorf school – I am very interested in anthroposophy (spiritual science). In the last 4 years we are working on the renewal of the library platform of the Hungarian libraries.
In my free time I listen to contemporary, jazz and blues music, regularly go to theatre, visit painting exhibitions, passionately watch movies, mostly artistic films. I am interested in all forms of art. I read a lot, printed books and newspapers, mostly fiction and philosophy. I love cycling and squash, I regularly jog, sometimes practice yoga. I love to be in a thermal spa and in a sauna (we have one sauna at home).
The most precious occupation for me is travelling, and to be on the road, especially in the fresh air, and in Asia. I have been lucky to meet many different cultures and people, and to be a member of SERVAS www.servas.org over more than 25 years, as a traveller and a host. I have two grown up children, David and Anna.
