ABOUT ME
I've just scrapped everything on here...wrote it about 5 years ago and haven't really updated it since. Just drop me an email and I'll get back to you.
PHILOSOPHY
"a bit strange, but very delicious" -a very good dutch friend of mine told me this phrase which I very much have taken to, but basically I have a large appetite for all things new! willing to try new things etc etc - after all if you don't take risks you won't get anywhere will ya?
Other quotes:
"If it's meant to be it's mean to be"
"Anything that doesn't hurt can only make you fatter" - courtesy of a spanish friend :)
"Tomorrow is a new day!"
"live with no regrets"
i could go on forever...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Now i'm back from my travels and have finally found my new apartment (homeless for 6 months!!) I can now host others..
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I haven't actually hosted anyone as of yet, but I have surfed and have met some interesting characters...
Interests
I love....Amy Tan books, eating good food, cooking, dancing and going to live gigs, especially if it's Indie or light rock. I also love a good read and spontaneous conversations about psychological and philosophical theories, over a glass of wine or a coffee!
Sports wise I like to stay active...rock climbing, snowboarding and scuba diving - any sports to do with water.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
It's hard to say just one amazing thing I have seen or done in my life time. In the travelling game I score -1 (22 countries minus my age!)
Things I've climbed: MachuPicchu, Mount Fuji, trees
Things that have peed on me:
Woolie monkey (on my head) whilst volunteering in Ecuador
Scuba dived in Thailand....
Fed and looked after 10 day old lion cubs.
Seen and experienced the Thai new year!
The great wall of china...(absolutely spectacular, if anyone proposed to me on the Greatwall i would say yes, it's that inspirational!)
I've recently done a lot of diving along the East Coast of Australia. Gorgeous.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can make dumplings from scratch. I can also cook a mean veggie lasagne, knit scarfs and solve dilemnas! If I crash at yours and you have an oven, electric whisk, pie tin I can whip up mouth watering lemon meringe pie!
As a psychology graduate I can also read minds.
