Hello there...!

A young adventurous girl, like swimming and walking, wants to become a social worker or a teacher in some little village in Africa ... and really like Belgian chocolates? YES, that's me!

I was born in 1996, so now I'm 19 years young :-)
From a young age I could really enjoy of nature, one of my biggest hobbies is walking. My most beautiful experience was last winter when I walked a part of the Camino Francès to Santiago de Compostella.

I also like swimming and canoeing. In weekends, I sometimes work in a swimming pool as life saver. But during the school time, I have to study of course! It's my first year of university, I study Educational Sciences at the University of Ghent and I'm really happy with these choice! One of my biggest passion are children (of course).

In my spare time you can find me in some voluntary organisations for children or homeless people in Ghent. It's also a passion to deal with these people and to meet and see them as real FRIENDS, once you can do this with one person, once you can open your heart and eyes for them, a wonderful feeling of intrinsic happiness and peace comes into you and will never leave... I promise! Something to try! ;-)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Travelling, in my eyes, is not only visiting the touristic places in a city but so much more. Travelling is also meeting the people of that city, meething other lives, meeting other souls.
