About Me

I'm a graduate student and am, I'd say, a pretty laid-back person. I enjoy lazy afternoons- reading a good book, having a coffee and a nice talk with my friends. Yet, I don't sit around all day but instead enjoy the outdoors and various kind of activities just as much.
I am an open, yet not excessivley outgoing person. But since I'm broadly speaking interested in people and meeting people from all over the world, I don't mind being surrounded by a bunch of people telling the most interesting stories.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've never done couchsurfing so far but am looking forward to make that experience now that university gives me a bit more time to live and travel.
I've lived in Portugal several times for educational purposes and have enjoyed the international and communal atmosphere. I've shared flats and rooms with many different people so far and am looking for what I found during that time- a communal spirit and interest in and respect for the lives of others.

Interests

At least some sports- riding, swimming and running. Besides I enjoy doing simply nothing at times- laziness is kinda my guilty pleasure. The opportunity to leave home and discover new places and meet new people motivates me get up and leave laziness behind though. I enjoy learning new languages just as much and am always up for joining the crowds in concerts or music festivals.

Music, Movies, and Books

I mostly listen to Indie and Alternative, but recently discovered the soothing sounds of folk and indie pop for myself. I'm open to most musical genres, but in general prefer guitar sounds over e-dance music.
Books is hard to say. Give me just some novel and I'll definitely give it a try.
Same goes for movies and series, though I have a tendency not to watch too many romantic comedies a year.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Definitely living in Lisbon for all in all at least a year in the past 4 years. It's simply an amazing place.

Teach, Learn, Share

It's difficult to think of anything specific in this section. I'm simply looking forward to open-minded people who are willing to share their apartment with me for a little while. I'd just love to learn about life in other places and hearing about it from those who have been and lived there.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Stories on living abroad, I guess. Also, I could offer teaching some language skills, or relaxed-kitchen-conversation...

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, Denmark, France, Italy, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland

Countries I’ve Lived In
