ABOUT ME
My name is Lena and I'm a 22-year-old german girl.
I am easy-going, spontaneous, and I love to have people around me.
I like to go out and do a lot of activities, but I also have my silent moments when I enjoy just sitting in a park or on the beach with a book and good music.
I'm from northern Germany, but I am living in Málaga, Spain since September 2011 studying here at university.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Uff, a lot of things! I have travelled a lot and every country has its positive and negative things. But positive or negative, every little thing helps you to grow up and the the world with different eyes.
I did an High School year in Argentina in 2008 and stayed there with a wonderful host family which I am still talking to every week =) I got to know a lot of very nice and helpful friends, and I am planning to go back there soon to visit them again.
I travelled to Namibia and discovered the country by bus, which was a really interesting. The most fascinating thing for me was the people.. wherever we went, they tried to help us (although they were very poor), were very curious and interested in the European life style.
In 2011 I moved to Spain, spent two months in Barcelona, one month in Valencia and finally chose Malaga as my new home.
In 2012 I travelled around western Spain and Portugal for some weeks, worked in different places and got to know many different people..
And then, also in 2012, I worked at the Olympics and Paralympics in London where I was in contact with all the athletes every day. That job changed me a lot, I think. especially the paralympic athletes with their positive view on life although they had had a lot of disappointments and battles in life, tought me a lot.
Last summer I spent two months in Indonesia backpacking which was a totally new experience for me, I can just say it is an incredible country with amazing people and beautiful landscapes.
