About Me
CURRENT MISSION
time travel to the eighties, settle there, enjoy.
ABOUT ME
I live in Oslo, I manage a bar, I take pictures, I play football, I play guitar, I have a 6 years old boy, I love culture and craft beer, I run a film club...
I'm a pretty busy guy.
PHILOSOPHY
Proud inventor of the 359° change.
It has the most amount of effort for the least amount of change!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE
I've been a member for over 10 years now...
I've seen the website change, and i can't say I'm thrilled about it, but the COMMUNITY of great people is what keeps me coming back again and again.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I was 17 when I first crashed a stranger's couch, somewhere in Germany... I'm double that age now (oh shit) so I'd say I'm pretty "experienced" in Couchsurfing.
Nowadays I only get to travel 2 weeks a year, and I usually stay in hotels, but I'll never stop looking for ways to give back to the community.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've "toured" across europe with my street busking band... We've met great people and shared a few laugh and smiles with many audiences in numerous countries ; great memories!!
Teach, Learn, Share
I love to correct people's mistakes with the french language.
I just bought an Harmonica to play along with my guitar. Any advice is much apreciated!! :)
What I Can Share with Hosts
I've done this a while now, and I'm a busy guy, so don't feel bad about sending me a request even if you're "just looking for free accommodation", It's ok, I've been there, and as long as you seem cool and respectful, I'm happy to do a solid for a stranger.
(But if you wanna hang and do stuff together that's cool too obviously.)
#A random thought about money/budget :
More than half the requests I receive seem to contain the words "I want to experience the city like a local", and then those travellers come to Oslo with a 10€/day budget... Keep in mind that Oslo is one of the most expensive cities in the world, so if all your budget can afford is basic groceries and home cooking, you won't see much of the "local life"...
