Hey!

I've recently got back from a two-month trip to India, Singapore, Vietnam, Laos and Thailand. It was incredible but now it's back to the daily grind. That, however, doesn't stop me from taking a short weekend trip every now and then :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm hoping to meet like-minded people who can share a few tips or stories about the cities they live in! I'm new to Couchsurfing and I'm sure it'll bring lots of great experiences!

Music, Movies, and Books

I usually watch movies, which prepare me for my planned travels, so I have recently watched Lion and Lunchbox in preparation for my trip to India - both excellent movies! I am also a die hard fan of Disney movies and will argue with you about which female lead is the most badass (the answer is Pocahontas. Obviously).

As for books, I have transitioned into listening to Audible and am currently listening to The Subtle Art of Not Giving a Fuck by Mark Manson (this guy is speaking my mind).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One time I finished a shampoo bottle at the same time as my conditioner. I thought that was pretty amazing if I do say so myself.

But surviving three months in rural Cambodia with no running water and no washing machine is also pretty up there ;)

Teach, Learn, Share

I love learning bits of the local language and learning about the life of locals - I can sit and listen to stories about different cultures for hours :)

I can share some pretty interesting facts about the history of G&T, although I probably know more about drinking it, so there's that.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I like cooking for friends so if you're up for it I can make us a nice dinner :) My speciality is huevos rancheros or a super tasty mushroom risotto!

I am a great listener but equally love sharing stories with new people about my adventures and my culture.
