I'm a curious and friendly person who loves the ocean and coffee. I like to explore new places on a bike because I think it's the perfect balance between covering distance quickly and still having the opportunity to observe ones surroundings.

I have spent the last four years working as an R&D engineer in the water industry and am now travelling through the world with my eyes and ears open looking for inspiration to shape my next moves.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm couchsurfing to meet new people and explore cities and countries from a local point of view as I believe this is the only true way you can get to know a place and explore different ways of life....plus to find out the local secrets!

In NZ I love having guests to stay and share my home town. I haven't hosted any couchsurfers through this programme but I've welcomed people I've met hitchhiking to stay and I hope to enjoy this community and give back once I return home.
