Overview
About Me
I like to think of myself as an open-minded and easy-going person, but that sounds too cheesy so I'll write something else...sarcasm lover, life taster and a student. I value a lot the nature and sustainability.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I would like to meet local people but also other travelers, get to know the culture, share our experience and outlooks on life.
Last summer I did workaway in Switzerland where I was helping out a family with horses in exchange for accommodation and food, then I volunteered in a summer camp with handicapped people and after that I traveled solo for around two weeks and met a lot of amazing people on the road :) It was the first time I used couchsurfing and seeing how hospitable, trusting and helpful people are, changed my perspective.
Seeing all the different ways people live, getting to know their passions and thanks to them, experiencing the cities as locals is what I find much more interesting than just visiting tourist attractions and staying in the comfort of your hotel room.
Interests
Traveling, learning new languages, analog photography, coming up with ideas, challenging myself, nature, surfing, watching sunsets and sunrises, spectacular panoramas, teaching my dog tricks :D
Music, Movies, and Books
The Offspring has been my favorite music band for many years, but now I just cant decide anymore as I got to know many other great musicians and I started enjoying all kinds of music.
The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy - Douglas Adams, Galapágos - Kurt Vonnegut, The Little Prince, 1984. I also like psychology books and books on behavioral economics, Ariely, Kahneman.
Teach, Learn, Share
I would like to learn the art of writing. It often happens to me that I have something to write about and I want to share it with the world, but when I start, it just doesnt evolve the way I would love it to...this might be a great loss for humanity.
I can teach you for example some healthy vegan cooking, analog photography, the languages I speak.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Hopefully good mood, positive energy - and if not, then at least some interesting stories, deep talks and poor decision-making skills :D
