ABOUT ME

I'm 27 years old girl from Slovakia. I moved to UK when I was 19 and worked and studied there. After my studies I'm mostly traveling and working/volunteering wherever I am.

I'm a huge animal lover - especially dogs and it's sad to see so many dogs in such a poor conditions while traveling. I'm happy to help in animal care if needed :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Great concept for travellers to meet locals and and have friends in different countries, cultural exchange etc :)
Also good for hosts who are unable to travel (not only) but want to meet people from different cultures/countries and show them around (engage them in local culture)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I was attending (not regularly) Couchsurfing meetings in my area - Southampton (UK)
Also I did my dissertation about CS in 2014.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Mostly as a couchsurfer as I'm travelling at the moment

I was not able to host much in the past as my flatmate didn't agree on hosting people at our place

Interests

Sports - yoga and ACROYOGA so any acroyogi out there, lets meet up :D
I also love traveling, exploring new places and hiking and spending my time with animals
meeting new people & going concerts
I enjoy having a long walks and conversations, music of various kinds
From cooking I like the most making soups and salads :)

Movies: I enjoy the most psychological thrillers and films with twist, sometimes like to watch something funny so comedies

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Swimming & diving with the sea turtles, releasing baby sea turtles to the sea...

Did amazing 5 days safari in Tanzania seeing loads of wildlife and staying in the campsite in Serengeti park and Ngorongoro crater

Epic motorbike trip in Leh Laddakh in Indian Himalayas.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm sure I could teach people some of my knowledge/skills
(Exchange of recipes, teaching yoga, doing acroyoga together, teaching English, helping with animals)

I would also like to learn more about blogging, marine environment, Environmental issues and be able to learn & practice more acroyoga

I want to learn so many things...so I'll be happy to try out quite anything (trying to overcome my fears as well :)

I think you can learn something from every person/place/experience you meet/have.
