I'm still getting to know myself. The facts are: I grew up in Bratislava, lived 2 years abroad and came back, convinced that my hometown is the place where I want to stay. I share apartment with a friend and we live a very happy life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Sharing is trendy. Hotels are very eco-unfriendly. People are nice and I tend to trust them. And I have a lot to offer as a host. And I know a couple who met thanks to CS and got married.

Interests

I like skiing, hiking and ski touring. When there's no snow, I go picking mushrooms in the woods. I am interested in botany and gardening but with minimal practical applications. I sow herbs in my Dad's garden but then it's him who takes care of them.
I like cooking and love to discover new tastes and recipes through sharing with fellow couchsurfers. I learn by looking at other people doing it and helping and then I improvise my recipes.
I'm also very much into languages and etymology and my passion is to discover linguistic interconnections between languages (European languages).
I like to educate myself about public transport, urbanism and city infrastructures.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Graviola! the most amazing Brazilian fruit. I didn't do anything to it, just ate it and shared with friends.
The amazing thing about it (except for the taste) was the way that topless wild man opened it with his bare hands on the riverbank in the woods.
