I grew up in Oregon, went to college in Wisconsin, studied in the Czech Republic, lived in North Carolina, served in the Peace Corps in Nicaragua, and studied in New York City. I love hosting and cooking and meeting new people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I sleep on couches, cook, give tours, and host when I can.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In the states I have hosted some wonderful people who came from California, Connecticut, Louisiana, Argentina, Texas, and elsewhere. I have couch surfed in Idaho.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music I like is varied but includes: The Velvet Underground, Patsy Cline, Leadbelly, and Odetta, etc. Lately I have been hooked on Blues, Bluegrass, and Folk. I love books. Right now I am reading a collection of James Baldwin essays.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was once sandwiched between two country musicians on a kayak gliding across a bioluminescent bay under a sparkle starry sky.
