About Me
Hello everybody! My name is Lena. I live in St. Petersburg. Most importantly passion of my life is music and percussion instruments. I am a student of St. Petersburg State Conservatory named after Rimsky-Korsakov.I`m working in the music school. I love children and I`m happy that I have an opportunity to teach them what I can do. I also work in the orchestra as a percusionist. Most part of my life I dedicate to music lessons. But my passion does not end there. I love any creation. I learn to draw, write poetry, enjoy photography, doing sports. Another my great passion is travel. At first it becomes a part of the life of any professional musician. But apart from touring to different countries I like to go camping and go on nature. I love mountains. This year I climbed the Elbrus. That was incredible. I like to communicate with different people, make new acquaintances, learn new things and share my experience and impressions. I dream to visit a lot of places on the globe. And in general I like to dream and realize my dreams. I don`t know what else I can tell here about myself. I just love life :)
P.S.: Sorry for my English. I hope it is understandable :)

Music, Movies, and Books
My favorite music is classical, academic and music for percussion instuments. In general, I listen to a variety of music.
As for books... I reed a lot of books about music, becaurse I need this knowledge in my profession. Also I like poetry. I reed mainly Russian poetry and classical foreign poetry. And my favorite book is the memoir of the composer Hector Berlioz. It combines everything. Music, adventure, nature, love, suffering, joy. The life of this man is an example for me. He never gave up and fought for what he loved.
As for cinema. I like it :) I like Psychological movies, movies about people. Also films about nature and adventures.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Sunrise in the mountains of the Caucasus at an altitude of 5000 meters. It was magic. The gently pink sky, clouds underfoot, blue shadow from Elbrus on half of the Caucasian ridge. And that you come there only by your foot. It was a moment of real happiness.
Another vivid impression was when I played "Bolero" (Moris Ravel) on the snare drum with orcestra. My legs and hands were trembled. Behind my back was a whole orchestra. And I was the second conductor of the orchestra. It was realy cool!)
Also had a lot of impressions in my life. I can`t remember them all.
