ABOUT ME

I am Czech with Vietnamese, Slovakian and Rumunian roots who currently live in Canada. I organize trips for newcomers and international students and I love to travel, meet new people and explore new places. Life is chalange but we should enjoy our life as much as we can.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I´ve been member of couchsurfing for 4 years and I stayed at ppl couches, RVs, beds and floors and I try to host people as much as I can and whenever my roommates are down to meet some cool travelers.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I´ve surfed in Canada and USA and I host few people at my place. Couchsurfing is a perfect way how to meet new friends and local people.

I like movies, I prefer drama - An American Crime, 21 grams, Amores Perros, Frida,Tropa De Ellite, City of God, european movies (Kusturica, Fatih Akin, czech movies, north european movies) atc...About comedy - IT Crowd, Forrest Gump, Sex and the City, The Sopranos, Shrek, Ratatouille...

I like rock music and indie (The Killers, Arctic Monkeys, Oasis, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Foo Fighters, Muse,The Black Keys) ska music, jazz, blues) and I LOVE rock festivals during summer.

My favorite book is We Children from Bahnhof Zoo, but i also like E. Zola´s books, czech writers, P. Coelho, Godfather, Ch. Bukowski

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I´ve seen big hairy spider in washroom in Vietnam - I never want to see it again! I´ve seen moose, whale, bear, owl, eagle in Canada and USA.

I´ve done trip across of California, which was amazing, I won some money in VEGAS, I´ve seen Grand Canyon and Canadian Rocky Mountains, which was AWESOME!

And....I´ve done surfing in Tofino and I could stand up for few seconds.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how you can cook typical czech food - goulash and how can you drink a lot of beer. I can teach you how to say one beer please in Czech language...you might to use it at some pub in Toronto....you never know......
