I'm curious, ready for a change, easy-going person. I like meeting new people and getting to know how life goes at other places. I prefer late mornings with good coffee and cozy evenings with friends and good wine.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love hosting people from all around the world and get to know how things work out there. I am also open to guide around Vancouver and tell about Canadian and Russian traditions and culture. I surf myself to get deeper insights in the local culture and atmosphere.

I moved to Vancouver, Canada a few months ago and previously I was hosting people in the Hague, from all over Europe. This location is new and still unexplored.

兴趣

I prefer active weekends, like hiking in the mountains, cycling, kitesurfing, going to the beach or doing yoga.
I like art, e.g. expressionists' paintings and cubists' drawings, architecture, especially Art Nouveau, history, let it be of XXth century, and books about art, architecture and history :) I like to learn how things work, for example, how wines are made, how fabrics are woven, and how coffee is grown.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

My skydiving experience is something which I keep recalling. I've never seen such a huge and deep sky after that :)
Now I'm doing kitesurfing and I'm still amazed every time I step on the board :)

If you are interested, I can teach you how to cook Russian borsch and Swiss fondue. I'd be happy to share my travel experiences and tell about different countries where I lived.
I can also tell you a thing or two about personal asset management and investment, it's my job after all :)
