About Me
Now that I finished my studies, it is hard to give myself an easy label. I guess I am taking a gap year and am trying to get to know some more of Europe.
I care about refining my view of the world. Thus, I really like getting to listen to people's stories and views, and am always open for a good philosophical or political conversation.
I guess there's plenty more to say about me, but hey! Why list all of it here? That ruins the fun of getting to know each other (over a beer, or two, or three, or a coffee, or tea...) in person. Cheers!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Hotels are nice when you are old, but I want to meet new people while I'm traveling. People from different cultures, with different nationalities and interests. People I can spend time with. People that show me around and introduce me to their life, habits and traditions.

Music, Movies, and Books
At the moment, I’m reading Nietzsche’s Beyond Good and Evil and Dune, as I liked the movies a lot. Otherwise, The Lord of the Rings, The Martian and To Kill a Mockingbird are my favourite books. I also like to read non-fiction though, like The Age of Surveillance-Capitalism, Why We Sleep or the works of the great Yuval N. Harari.
As I am a fan of The Lord of the Rings, I of course have watched the movies countless times :). Besides that and the Dune movies we got so far, I consider Interstellar, Oppenheimer and Gladiator some of the best works of cinematographic art out there. More classical movies are very interesting to me as well. At the moment, I am watching the Alien movies one by one.
Music-wise, I love to study to classical music or movie scores, listen to pop and rap and dance to techno.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I have a few recipes that I love sharing, and I’m generally up for pretty much anything. Also got a couple of stories to share from bikepacking trips around Europe.
