Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I created this account during my time in New Zealand. There I did a lot of wwoofing, which I believe most of you already heard of. During that time I stayed with 12 families, all very different from each other, but all so welcoming and friendly. I have collected so many good experiences then, that I now want to stay connected to the community.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like listening to Indie-Pop, Rock and Pop of the 70s and 80s, but also Techno and a bit of everything else.

Books: Lord of the Rings, Dune, Game of Thrones, Unknown Soldiers and so many more. I'd love to hear about your favorite book.

I also like watching Drama, Mystery, Sci-Fi and Fantasyseries and movies. (Lost, Twin Peaks, Homeland, Fortitude, Peaky Blinders, Fargo, Shameless; movies of course Lord of the Rings, Lion King, Dune, everything by Quentin Tarrantino (right spelling?) and many more )

stuff I also like: Simon Beckett, J.R.R. Tolkien, George R.R. Martin (especially the short storys), TOTO, LORDE, London Grammar, Future Islands, Supertramp, The Doors, Cosby Stils and Nash, Paul Simon, HVOB and minimal house in general.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Bungy jump in New Zealand.
Moving to the Netherlands.
Hiking with a friend from Finland through Lapland to see a theatre play in the wilderness.
Laying in the snow at -25 degrees, watching the northern lights stream down like rain from directly above.
