CURRENT MISSION Seeing as many places as possible without feeling forced to hurry from one to the next. ABOUT ME My name is Lennart and I am 27 years old. Currently I am finishing my Master in Public Policy and Mgmt. not knowing where I will end up afterwards. I am originally from Hamburg, Germany, but decided to pursue my Bachelor studies in the Netherlands. I consider myself a friendly and outgoing person always interested in new countries, adventures, and funny folks. I enjoy exploring new cities and their sights during the day as much as going out at night and having a blast ;) PHILOSOPHY This is probably the section where one should write stuff like "A journey is best measured in friends, rather than miles." or "Its the journy that matters, not the destination." and despite the truth inherent in these statements I am not much of a philosopher. Let me put it this way: I am convinced that everybody should be free to live his/her life the way one wishes to. People should dare more and think less about the far future. Experiences and acquaintances carry more value than any material possessions. And finally, I am tolerant and friendly towards others as this is the way I expect to be treated myself :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am completely new to the whole couchsurfing concept but I really like the idea of exploring new cities guided by locals. I hope I will get to know great people and have a lot of fun surfing around the globe. Of course also fellow surfers are welcome to my place :)

Interests

I enjoy going out for a coffee or beer as much as having a more relaxed evening cooking together or watching a movie with my friends. I enjoy running and sailing and I used to play table tennis which I quitted when I started my studies.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies/TV: Thriller such as V for Vendetta or Seven, movies from Tarantino and Woody Allen but also simple, entertaining movies like "What happens in Vegas". Besides I enjoy watching series such as "Borgen", "Suits", "The Good Wife", "Skins" (obviously the british version), "Misfits", and "In the flesh" .

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the most amazing trips I did was a bagpacking tour with four friends through the scottish Highlands and the northern part of England. Countrysidewise I enjoyed the area around Loch Lomond the most and Citywise I totally fell in love with Edinburgh!
